Thai cooking classes are available at Exotic Fishing Thailand’s Mountain View Restaurant. This is a fun and tasty activity for all visitors to EFT, especially for friends and family of the person busy fishing.
The course includes lessons in selection and preparation of ingredients, followed by a hands-on step by step lesson to complete each traditional and delicious dish.
The price for cooking 2 dishes selected from the below menu is 1,200 Baht.

Appetizers
1. Spring Rolls – mixed vegetables, noodles, and sweet plum sauce.
2. Chicken Satay – chicken skewers with peanut sauce.
Soup
1. Tom Kar Kai – chicken in coconut milk with lemon grass, mushrooms, shallots, lime juice or with your choice of prawns, squid, or beef.
2. Tom Yam Kung – hot and sour spicy soup with prawns, mushroom, shallots, lime juice or with your choice of squid, chicken, or pork.
Main Dishes
1. Kaeng Kiew Waan – Thai green curry and coconut milk with your choice of prawns, squid, chicken, beef, or pork.
2. Kaeng Massaman – Thai Massaman curry and coconut milk with your choice of chicken, beef, or pork.
3. Phad Thai – wok fried sticky rice noodles, red Tamarind sauce, mixed vegetables, with your choice of prawns, squid, chicken, beef, or pork.
4. Kai Phad Med Mamuang – wok fried chicken and cashew nuts, onion ball, pepper, soy sauce, with your choice of chicken, beef, or pork.
5. Phad Priew Waan – sweet and sour sauce fried with pork or with your choice of prawns, squid, chicken, or beef.
The portion size prepared is for 2 people and includes steamed rice
The lessons are held both in the morning after 10:30 am and afternoon after 4:30 pm. Please arrange with the kitchen staff the morning of, or if you are staying with us then the day before, what time is suitable for the class and your preferred dishes to learn. Maximum number of people per lesson is 3 people. All lessons also include a printed copy of the ingredients for the selected dishes and a Certificate of Participation.
