Jungle Fishing in Thailand

brush-line-orange

Working in collaboration with some of Thailand’s most experienced Jungle Fishing guides.

Our team fish in remote jungle areas across Phang Nga and the surrounding remote areas in stunningly beautiful locations that are protected from commercial net fishing, such as Jungle streams, brooks, creeks and dams. You will find yourself surrounded by tropical wildlife, birds and plant life, whilst anticipating the ferocious takes of Giant Snakehead and other native species.

Rivers & Streams

Although in many parts of Thailand lure fishing for these species can be very challenging here It is not uncommon to catch 10 plus fish per day for anglers of average angling ability.

Advanced anglers often greatly surpass this amount of fish. Beginners are welcome, but ideally they should have basic casting skills. Tuition is included from beginner up to advanced level casting and retrieve techniques and knot tying.

Dams

We fish in areas no other western anglers fish that are protected by a non commercial fishing policy, which in Thailand is a rare opportunity.

We penetrate as far as you can go into the jungle along the numerous rivers, that feed into well known Dams and Lakes  in search of our main target species Giant and Striped Snakehead, Hampala Barb (also known as Jungle Perch),Thai Mahseer, River Catfish and also the very rare Cobra Snakehead.

Lakes

Although we recommend 3–4 days for this trip, as the area we fish is very large and time needs to be spent locating the fish, shorter excursions can also be arranged, and if you get lucky good results can still come.

If results are slow you will still certainly enjoy the experience of being in this unspoiled fishing habitat.
